Later, the wind died down somewhat so we were able to get a pass in before race day. At the hit of the throttle, the boat launched hard but did not go past the starting line. We qualified in the 3rd position. On race day, we again had Speed Sports first round and unfortunately lost. Daryl Ehrlich in Robert Mill's Disorderly Conduct took the win against Speed Sports in the final. This was not that spectacular of a weekend for us, but they guys are working hard to find the gremlins we've been having lately. Though there were only a few Top Fuel boats there, Eddie's new hull looked amazing and Speed Sports ran a 4.68 making them 1 qualifier, but we did not let our 2nd place 4.93 qualifying slow us down. In the semi’s things came undone literally. The blower came apart, it lifted, broke the pulley and crank, big boom and lots of fire.
